What does this sensor actually do?

Will it work with my water softener?
Yes, if your softener has a standard brine tank with a lid. It works with major brands including Culligan, Kinetico, GE, Whirlpool, Kenmore, and more. It is not a water softener — it mounts on the one you already have.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
Yes. The sensor uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which most home routers already provide. If Wi-Fi drops, it stores readings and syncs when the connection returns.
How long does setup take?
Most people finish in about 5 minutes. The box includes a drill bit, USB cable, and tape measure. Stick the sensor on the lid, plug it in, and connect in the app.
Is there a subscription?
No. Monitoring, alerts, and usage history are included with the sensor. Salt delivery through the app is optional and only where a local dealer is available.
